ABOUT ELDER GREGORY JACKSON JR.

Elder Gregory Jackson Jr. is a pastor, author, educator, researcher, and community leader committed to helping individuals discover purpose, strengthen their faith, and impact their communities. He currently serves as Pastor of Community Engagement at Historic 80th Street Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent K.Y Anderson.

 

Known for his practical and engaging teaching style, Elder Jackson ministers with a focus on faith, leadership, discipleship, personal development, and holistic transformation. His ministry emphasizes the application of biblical principles to everyday life, empowering believers to move beyond inspiration into intentional action and kingdom impact.

 

Elder Jackson has served in various ministry leadership capacities throughout his journey, including worship ministry, youth and young adult leadership, teaching ministry, pastoral ministry, and organizational leadership. He currently serves as Secretary of AKFOC- NOLA under Apostle K. Allen and has dedicated his life to equipping believers, developing leaders, and advancing the work of the Kingdom of God.

 

He is the author of Speak It! A 21-Day Devotional of Prayers and Biblical Affirmations and Victory Is Mine: A Five-star Guide to Living a Victorious and More Than Conquering Life. Through his writing, he encourages readers to embrace biblical truth, strengthen their faith, and walk confidently in the promises of God.

 

Beyond the pulpit, Elder Jackson is a doctoral candidate in Urban Affairs at the University of New Orleans and serves as Founder and Executive Director of the Black Urban and Rural Policy Group (BURP Group), a research and public policy organization dedicated to strengthening communities through scholarship, leadership, and civic engagement. His academic work focuses on the intersection of community development, public policy, health equity, and neighborhood outcomes.Elder Jackson is passionate about bridging faith, scholarship, and service to create lasting impact.
